KICK OFF LUNCHEON The Annual Kick Off Luncheon brings old and new members together in September to kick off the year. Themed baskets are raffled to raise money for our supported charity. It's a great way to catch up with friends after the summer break and welcome new members. | THANKSGIVING DINNER Complete with turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings, AWC hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner that shouldn't be missed. It's a fancy affair for all members, family and guests. | HOLIDAY COFFEE In December, the Holiday Coffee is hosted in an AWC member's beautiful home complete with traditional fare. It is a wonderful way to start off the holiday season. |
JULY 4th PARTY The best party of the year is the annual July 4th Celebration. We get together at a local pub, dressed in our red white and blue and enjoy good ol' American fare. | CHARITY BRIDGE Each spring AWC bridge players and friends get together for lunch and friendly games of bridge. All proceeds benefit our local charity. | ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Annual General Meeting is held every June. It starts with an apero and follows with a meeting to plan the following year, elect board members, and vote on club business. |
SPECIAL EVENTS Throughout the year, AWC members plan special events. Art events, day trips, festivals, educational talks, local events, and fundraisers are some examples to name a few. Members can register to attend events on our CALENDAR |
